Description: THE SCOPE OF THE WORK IS THE PRODUCTION OF A MAGNESIUM CHLORIDE SOLUTION OF HIGH PURITY (MINIMUM IMPURITY LEVELS) STARTING FROM A MGSIO3 BATCH THAT HAS BEEN DIVIDED INTO TWO SAMPLES OF DIFFERENT PARTICLE SIZES. THE WORK INCLUDES A) PHYSICOCHEMICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF SAMPLES, B) LEACHING FESTS WITH HCI SOLUTION, C) OXIDATION OF PLS WITH H2O2, AND D) PRECIPITATION OF IMPURITIES FROM PLS WITH MG(OH)2 NEUTRALIZATION.
