| Description: | QUINPHOS WILL DEVELOP A QUANTUM PHOTONIC ANNEALING MACHINE (QUANTUM SPIM) BASED ON INNOVATIVE HOLOGRAPHY TECHNIQUES. THIS MACHINE WILL MIMIC THE GENERALIZED HAMILTONIAN OF THE ISING MODEL. THE GOAL IS TO ADDRESS AND SOLVE DIFFICULT NP-HARD COMBINATORIAL OPTIMIZATION PROBLEMS. THESE PROBLEMS, WHILE NOT EFFICIENTLY SOLVABLE WITH CURRENT DIGITAL COMPUTING ARCHITECTURES, HAVE A MATHEMATICAL DESCRIPTION THAT CAN BE REDUCED TO THE ISING MODEL. CONCURRENTLY, QUINPHOS AIMS TO CREATE AN ONLINE PLATFORM TO FACILITATE THE USE OF THIS SETUP FOR SCIENTIFIC AND COMMERCIAL PURPOSES. THIS PLATFORM WILL PROVIDE ACCESS TO EXTERNAL USERS FROM BOTH ACADEMIA AND RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS, AS WELL AS THE COMMERCIAL SECTOR. |
