| Description: | THE OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT IS TO FURTHER DEVELOP AND OPTIMIZE THE DESIGN OF THE APIRA SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING BUILDINGS AGAINST WILDFIRES, AIMING TO IMPROVE ITS OPERATIONAL BEHAVIOUR, ESPECIALLY REGARDING ITS RESISTANCE AGAINST FIRE. THE APIRA SYSTEM IS AN INNOVATIVE, ALL-IN-ONE WILDFIRE PROTECTION SOLUTION DESIGNED TO SAFEGUARD HOMES AND STRUCTURES FROM WILDFIRES, FLYING EMBERS, FIREBRANDS AND RADIANT HEAT. APIRA PROVIDES A FULL-COVERAGE SHIELD FOR ALL VULNERABLE POINTS OF A STRUCTURE, INCLUDING WINDOWS, DOORS AND ROOFS, EFFECTIVELY PREVENTING WILDFIRE ENTRY AND IGNITION SOURCES.
