| Description: | IN THIS PROJECT, COMPOSITE MATERIALS AND ORGANIC COATINGS WILL BE STUDIED IN TERMS OF THEIR PHYSICOCHEMICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES, FOLLOWING ACCELERATED AGING. THE MATERIALS WILL BE PLACED IN A CHAMBER THAT SIMULATES SPECIFIC HUMIDITY AND TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS, WHILE AT THE SAME TIME THEY WILL BE IRRADIATED WITH ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION, TO ACCELERATE AGING. SUBSEQUENTLY, THEIR SURFACE AND PHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES WILL BE STUDIED, IN TERMS OF GLOSS, ROUGHNESS, HUE, WETTING, ETC.,WHILE MECHANICAL ASSESSMENT WILL BE ALSO CARRIED OUT (HARDNESS, INDENTATION, IMPACT, ETC.). |
