Description: THE PROGRAM AIMS TO ANALYZE RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS (RES). IN PARTICULAR, THE ANALYSIS INCLUDES THE WIND ENERGY, SOLAR ENERGY, BIOMASS, THE HYDROELECTRIC POTENTIAL, GEOTHERMAL SOURCES, SEA ENERGY AND CORRESPONDING TECHNOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS. INITIALLY, DATA WILL BE COLLECTED FROM EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, ANALYZED THE POLITICAL SUPPORT FOR RENEWABLE ENERGIES, RECORDED SHORT AND LONG-TERM GROWTH PROSPECTS IN GREECE AND EUROPE. IN A SECOND STAGE, THE POTENTIAL OF RES IN GREECE WILL BE RECORDING. MORE SPECIFICALLY, MAPS INDICATING THE WIND POTENTIALS OF SPECIAL INTEREST AND PECULIARITIES WILL BE DEVELOPED. IN THE THIRD STAGE, MOST MATURE TECHNOLOGIES SUCH AS WIND TURBINES, SOLAR PANELS, PASSIVE SOLAR, BIOCLIMATIC ARCHITECTURE, SMALL HYDRO, APPLICATIONS OF GEOTHERMAL ENERGY AND BIOENERGY WILL BE DESCRIBED. FINALLY, FINANCIAL FIGURES WILL BE COLLECTED AND COMPARATIVE FINANCIAL-INVESTMENT TECHNICAL ANALYSIS AND RES APPLICATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED.
