| Description: | THE MAIN SCOPE OF THE PROPOSED RESEARCH PROJECT IS TO EXAMINE, EVALUATE AND COMPARE GOLD LEACHING FROM THE PERAMA EPITHERMAL GOLD-BEARING DEPOSIT USING (I) CYANIDE; (II) CYANIDE-FREE GLYCINE; (III) CYANIDE-CATALYZED GLYCINE (GLYCAT); AND (IV) OTHER ALTERNATE LIXIVIANTS, TO BE AGREED WITH HELLAS GOLD, THAT COULD BE OF INTEREST TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF CYANIDE-FREE PROCESSES. MOREOVER, A HIGH-LEVEL TECHNICAL-ECONOMIC EVALUATION OF THE TESTED TECHNOLOGIES WILL BE PERFORMED TO ASSESS THEIR FEASIBILITY AND THE EFFICIENCY OF THE USED CHEMICALS IN GOLD RECOVERY. |
